No mOrE MoViEs fOr Me
Just heard over the news that with effect from 1 May 2005, the prices of movie tickets will increase. Imagine watching movies on a weekend now will cost you $9.50 instead of $8.50. It's freaking too expensive lor. When they adjusted the movie tickets last year to $8.50, its already a bit too expensive le. And now, the price increased again. The reasons for the price increase were ridiculous too. Employee's salary, utility bills and credit cards admin fees ---> Price increase in movie tickets. Does that makes any sense? NO! It's doesn't make any sense to me. They are just causing more piracy of CDs and people will start spending money on VCDs & DVDs rather than watching movies in the cinema. People will tend to be more selective when they go for movies in future. They will choose those movies like Star Wars to watch in cinemas and buy VCD/DVD for normal movies like the House of Fury. Anyway, the above are just my personal views. No offence made here.
