HaPpY BiRtHdAy, mY dEaR fRiEnD

Today's post is specially dedicated to this friend of mine whom I have lost touch with months ago. For those loyal readers who have been reading my blog from the very 1st post will know how close I am with this friend of mine. "Who is this friend?", some of you might ask. She's none other than Wendy. Apple, Wendy and I were very close friends who used to chiong Devilsbar together. Every weekend, the three of us will meet up and we will go clubbing, movies, rollerblading at East Coast Park, shopping, steamboat etc. We even labelled ourselves the three siao char bohs. We went through thick and thin together. We shared tears and joys. But somehow or rather, we just lost contact suddenly. Both Apple and myself do miss the wonderful time we had with her and do think of her every now and then. We truly and sincerely hope that she is getting on fine and leading a happy life now.

Wendy, if you are still reading my blog, I would like you to know that both Apple and myself do treasure the friendship we have. Even though we have stopped keeping in touch, you are still the cheerful-outgoing-crazy-articulate-intelligent Wendy we knew. Happy birthday to you and all the best in whatever you do.

Before I end, I would like to wish Kevin aka Weiyi Happy Birthday too as it's also his birthday today. May you be as GAY as ever~~ LoLz...

SiNgApOrE FoOd ExPo

Me and my dear dear just came back home from the Singapore Food Expo with an about-to-burst stomach due to too much food. Ya, greedy me. I simply couldn't resist the many choices there. Tried a few food samples and bought some nice food to satisfy our food cravings. Bird nests were selling on a promotional price but too bad, they don't have samples for us to try unlike other food =X. It was damn crowded lor. Announcements of lost children were heard every now and then. Well, some parents were really irresponsible. They just indulged in the good food and dump their children aside. You can practically see lots of super kiasu people pushing and jostling in the crowd just to be the first to buy the food. I feel like telling them :"Eh come on la, li gia jiak boh meh?" So gan jiong for what sial. Simply can't understand those people. *shake head* Took some photos using my handphone just now. Below are just some of the food we ate. Oiishi nehz!

My company's private function aka Thank You Party on Friday was great! The list of programmes lined up for that night were indeed interesting. We had 10 contestants for the singing competition and we had 5 teams consisting of 5 members each for the drinking competition. Well, I was asked to replace my Admin Manager for the drinking competition. Initially I thought its competing for the best drinker but after checking with my colleague, it was a drinking rally. With 5 members in each team, you can choose what drink you want. It's either Beer, Coke or Plain water. The drinks were arranged in the order like this : Beer, Coke, Beer, Coke and then Plain water. I was placed in the third one so from the arrangement of the drinks, you all would be able to know what I gonna drink. Yes, I will be drinking beer. FYI, don't be happy for those who drink plain water hor. It's not a glass or a mug like the beer and Coke. It's a pitcher of water. So much can~ You all must be thinking its very easy right? You all wrong liao. After drinking, for those who's drinking beer or Coke got to eat one banana while those who's drinking plain water must eat two bananas. And the bananas are not those small small for goreng pisang one lor. The emcees got to check that you have finished your banana before your next team member can start drinking. Zitao cannot play cheat one lor. After drinking my beer and eating the banana, I felt so full sial. Later, I was told by my big boss that we were not supposed to win. -_-''' Didn't tell me earlier. Made me so pia for the competition. Though we didn't win, but it was fun lor. Below are some of the photos taken on Friday night. Enjoy~

He negotiated with the fat guy to give chance and the fat guy zitao said :"Ok la, pang li pua diao." They tot bet soccer ah, pang pua liap. -_-'''

Pang pua diao he still lost lor. Can you all imagine how fast that fat guy finish that banana? Unbelievable~

Last week, Noelle darling forgot to bring her wallet when she was on her way to the hair salon. Today, its my turn. Thank you. I was searching my bag for my wallet while I was looking at the list of breakfast meals available at MacDonalds. I remembered to bring my Creative Zen Micro mp3 player, my cardholder, my handphone, my lip balm, my foundation, my dear dear's digicam and my organiser. Everything except my wallet! Want to how suay. No money no MacDonalds breakfast. After searching my bag and confirming that my wallet is not in there, I sadly walked out of the MacDonalds. Luckily I have not place my order yet sial. If not sure beri pai sey one. What a Friday~~~

PS : An hour later after I updated my blog, I realised I can use my Ezlink card to pay for my MacDonalds breakfast -_-''' Want to how blur~

StRaNgE WeAtHeR

Sial la, the month of May is supposed to be a dry and sunny month but it turns out to be a rainy month lor. The climate seems to have gone havoc.

If you read my blog often, you would have remembered me saying I hate it when its raining on weekdays . Weekdays are already bad enough because most of us got to wake up early for work and school. If it were to rain early in the morning, you can practically see a lot of people with their face black black. Rainy days pose a lot of inconveniences for people, don't you all think so? It's only good if you can snuggle in bed without having to wake up for work or school. But sad to say, we are unable to decide when it should rain, when it should not rain. Zhen de shi sang nao jing orh~

Being a sleep lover (Ya lah, I love to sleep and I could sleep for hours can~), rainy days make me feel sleepy easily. I even have a personal motto for myself - I can don't eat BUT I cannot don't sleep. Sleep is very important especially for ladies because sleep is beauty. If not, why Sleeping Beauty is called Sleeping Beauty and why its called Beauty Sleep and not Ugly Sleep. Dio boh? Got theory one ok~ Dun puay puay~

This week is a short week due to the long weekend last week. It's Friday again tomorrow. Got a company event tomorrow at Home Karaoke located at East Coast Park from 7pm to 10pm. Wang Hui and Kelvin Soh from Mediacorp were invited to perform for my company's private function. There will be a singing contest and drinking contest. Just finished a pack of the latest Star Wars Dark Chocolate Peanut M&Ms. Satisfying. I can feel the depressions leaving my body. Chocolates are very good in making women feel better. I feel great! Tomorrow is Friday liao!!! It's gonna be party-time tomorrow night at Devilsbar for the celebration of Marilyn and Clyde's birthday. And as usual, we had chosen a theme wear for tomorrow night. Met up with Apple, Ju and Noelle for dinner last night. For your info, we didn't meet up at Cineleisure Long John Silver lor. Kind of sick of the food there liao. Keke... Anyway, we had a great time chatting and bitching. Though its only four of us but there's still a lot to talk about. Halfway thru our bitchings, Mr Clyde called Apple asking her about Devilsbar Open Bottles Night. After Apple hang up the phone, she suddenly got very excited and asked whether we wanna go Devilsbar find Clyde. Being sibeh onz and steady, the four of us quickly headed to Devilsbar for some drinks. Strangely, when we walked into Devilsbar, all eyes were on the four of us. When we walked up the stairs to the Dance bar, all eyes were on the four of us again. You all wanna know why? It's machiam Men's Night instead of Open Bottles Night lor. It's like 98% of the customers at Devilsbar were men can. -_-''' Sweat until no sweat to sweat lor. FYI again, the four of us were dressed in office attire hor, not cheong gear. When DJ Kzee saw us, he also a bit puzzled how come this group of table table gang also come Devilsbar on Monday. He beri the heng I didnt asked him to play the table table song last night. Hahaha... Erm... should be heng I didnt request if not dio bashed by him. Diam diam table table. We left Devilsbar at about 10 plus because most of us got to work the next day. Though its just a short meet-up, but the four of us still enjoyed ourselves. Devils Bitches Rocks!

The weather nowadays damn funny leh. The month of May is supposed to be the hottest month of the year but strangely it has been raining cats and dogs these few days. Ji boring lor. Today is the start of the week when most of us got to wake up early to prepare for work and the first thing that greets me this morning is the rain -_-'''.

Before I continue the update for today, I would like to apologise to the girls for my absence yesterday for the gathering at Sentosa. I didn't mean to put your girls aeroplane de. Please forgive me. Will make up for you girls when we next meet up ya? I hope you girls enjoyed yourselves. Lots of apologies...

Well, my recent weekends was spent mostly in bed.....sleeping la. Don't think otherwise leh. Was down with a slight migraine since Saturday. Boring~ Can't do much with a groggy state so all I can do is sleep lor. Friday went Chommp Chomp with my dear dear and his colleagues for dinner. Sial lar, we ordered a lot of food can. Machiam we were having our very own buffet there lor. All ate until cannot move. Went devils for a while to keep Noelle dear company because she needed a drink badly. Didn't have the intention of staying late so we left devils at about 1 plus.

Then Saturday evening went to get a set of new speakers with my dear dear at Funan IT Mall and the whole of Sunday was having chess session with Zhou gong (sleeping). rAiNy dAyS

Being a sunshine girl, I still love rainy days. Especially on weekends morning when you don't have to wake up early to work and can afford to laze in bed. It will be even better if you can snuggle up close to your beloved one sleeping beside you. The feeling is heavenly. The weather this morning was great but it disgustingly falls on a weekday. So sad can. I wanted to laze in bed so much that I wish I can change the day to a weekend. But sad to say I don't have the ability to do so.

Ok, back to reality. Time to stop daydreaming~ Anyway, I did a lot of cooking and washing at home last night. Well, remember one of my new year's resolutions for this year was to learn how to cook? I do know how to cook a few dishes but I wanna learn more from my dearest mummy. She is a good cook which explains why my siblings and myself are all bai bai pang pang. What I cooked last night were spaghetti, pasta and chicken nuggets which it's quite easy to prepare. Went Carrefour during my lunchtime yesterday afternoon to get the ingredients. After buying the stuff, I realised I can actually get them during my way home after work at Causeway Point -_-'''. Damn sotong lor. Freaking get so many things then got to lug them home from my office. Sang nao jing~

My dear dear, Dennis and Alicia were invited to my house for the dinner. Three of them ate until very full lor. Reason being they were served with 2 rounds of spaghetti and pasta. I even asked them whether they wanna have cakes for desserts after dinner. Their reply to me -> They placed one hand on their stomach and shook their heads. Haha... Anyway, I am glad they like the food. Wait till I master more dishes then I invite more of my friends over to my house to try the food. *wink*

tHe 6 DeViLs BiTcHeS

How nice will it be if we all are working on weekends and rest on weekdays! Ok... I am daydreaming... That can never happen I know.

Well, if you guys have read Apple's blog, you would have seen the many photos we took when we went for a round of karaoke last Thursday. We had a great deal of fun and laughter that night. I really enjoyed the time together with my 5 darlings - Apple, Juliana, Noelle, Marilyn and Esther.

Among the 5 of them, I have known Apple for the longest time. Erm, though she can be blur at times (Or most of the times =X), but she is a great confidente. There won't be a moment of silence wth her around because she can't stand quietness. Keke... Why we could be so close because she is a good talker (Hahaha... bcos she is always the one talking. Good talker is not equal to talkative hor) whereas I am a good listener.

As for Ju (I still love her though she diam diam wanna take photos but don't upload them to her blog), Noelle (I love her because she won't hesitate when I say I wanna have MacDonalds breakfast after clubbing at Devilsbar), Marilyn ( I will love her as long as she don't push my head and say "What's your fucking problem?" when she gets drunk) and Esther (I love her because she can sing my favourite Jay's songs very well *thumbsup*), I know them at Devilsbar de. What make us click is because of our love to club at Devilsbar. Imagine all 6 of us have different personalities and holding different occupations, but we have one similar passion - Devilsbar.

Even if we just meet for dinner or bitching sessions, we have a lot to share with one another. Well, that's what friends are for. Be sincere towards each other. Thats how we can keep the friendship going. And I hope this special friendship for the 6 of us will never end. Friends forever! You Qing Wan Sui!

I just dunno why or what comes over me today. I felt very very tired. Well, I am supposed to have some of the birthday girl moods but somehow it all disappeared suddenly. Don't ask me why because I myself wanna know the answer too. I became very restless, lost my appetite and slight insomnia. Maybe I should just take this as a good opportunity to slim down. Must be thinking too much lately and the stress starts building up. My mind keeps going on like a machine that is on for 24 hrs a day without taking a rest. There isn't an off button to shut down this machine. I really wished to have a good night's rest. Anyway, tomorrow I will be meeting my darlings for dinner. Might even go for a session of karaoke at KBox after that. OK lah. It's time for me to lie on my newly-changed-bedsheets bed and slowly doze off to my dreamland le. I would like to thank all my dearest friends for the sweet birthday wishes via SMSes and my tagboard. I have indeed had a great 23rd birthday this year. Come to think of it, I had 3 birthday cakes for my birthday this year. All chocolate cakes can~ I think I got to go on a strict diet after indulging in so many good food last few days. dAtE WiTh mY DeAr DeAr & mY Bd PaRtY aT DeViLs

Well, all I can said about the dinner with my dear dear on Friday was fantastic. Because of him, my birthday this year is so special. I would like to thank him for the wonderful dinner and the thoughtful surprise he had given me on Friday night. With his final exams nearing, he still took some time to arrange something for my birthday. Really very sweet of him~

He picked me up at Orchard and brought me to The Hill Bistro at Mt. Faber for our dinner. Initially, I tot its just two of us but didn't expect he got some special guests to join us. Keke... they are Dennis, Alicia, Max and Cindy. Got a shock when I saw Alicia and Cindy in the washroom. I mean its quite strange to bump into one another at Mt. Faber lor. No wonder I was finding a bit strange how come my dear dear was so busy with his handphone msging someone. It was really nice to have them around in the celebration.

After the dinner, my dear dear was supposed to fetch me home and he would go back home to continue his revision for his exams. BUT... he got more plans for the night. He was supposed to fetch Max and his gf back first before fetching me home. I dunno how he did it but he actually "pa kart" with Max lor. I was sensing something strange when I saw the route back to Max's house was different. My dear dear still can say Max's house was very far, difficult to go. Eh, this is not the first time he is driving Max home and how come Max have move to stay in the town area. There is a very big question mark in my mind lor. I can't helped it so I asked Max is it he moved house. He still can say "Yes." -_-''' Well, the place we were heading to was ... Devilsbar. I was very surprised because my dear dear have not been going to Devilsbar ever since we got together. He said he knew I like to go Devilsbar, thats why he brought me there. He also caught me by surprise again when he opened a bottle of Chivas Regal. He said its for my birthday celebration with my girlfriends at Devilsbar on Saturday. Oh man~ I really dunno what to say and react after all he had done that night. I truly, truly enjoyed myself very much on Friday. All thanks to my dearest Dear Dear.
