Did all of you have a great time in welcoming the new year yesterday? Compared to previous years, this year's celebration was pretty unusual. No partying at Devilsbar. No getting myself drunk. No puking into the new year. Haha... Countdown to the new year can also be fun without going to clubs or pubs. For me, it doesn't really matter where to countdown the new year. What's more important is the people you are together with for the celebration. It doesn't have to be your boyfriend or girlfriend. You can have a great time with your friends too. Anyway, my dear dear and I went to Esplanade for the countdown last night, knowing there will be fireworks. We had a hard time getting through the super duper packed-like-sardine crowd from City Hall MRT station to Esplanade to meet Dennis and Alicia. It was horrible lor. Plus the "hei se hui" people (They are dark-skinned workers at construction sites, you know who lah hor) kept pushing and pushing and still pushing when there wasn't anymore space to get through. Wanna join in the fun of course can lah. But be more considerate mah. Really buay tahan the "hei se hui" people lor. After all the jostling and finally met up with Dennis and Alicia, we went to get a good viewing spot for countdown and viewing of the fireworks. In the midst of wow-ing at the splendid patterns of fireworks, the jostling with the crowd is worth it. We adjourned to our next destination, Geylang after the countdown for tian ji zhou (frog legs porridge). By the time we reached home, it's already 4am le. Although sibeh tired, but felt very happy. I hope all of you had a great celebration last night too. Me gonna prepare to go out with my dear dear le. We are meeting Dennis, Alicia, Max and his girlfriend for dinner at Suntec City. Ciao~
