BiG BeAuTiFuL eYeS i HaVe

I can have big beautiful eyes like Ayumi Hamasaki or those kawaii Japanese girls without having to go for plastic surgery le. It's all because I have a pair of korean black coloured contact lenses! My Sales Manager went for a business trip to Korea and I get her to look out for the black contact lenses for me. She also very "in" de leh. She knows what I was talking about when I told her about the contact lenses. So off to Korea she went for her business trip. You know what? She managed to find the contact lenses! She bought a pair for me and a pair for herself. It's so cool man~ The purpose of the contact lenses actually enlarge ur pupils. That's why your eyes will appear bigger and brighter. When I tried on the contact lenses last night, I took a photo of it and showed it to my dear dear. He said I looked like the blue blue boy in Ju On. Thankyouverymuch -_-''' He said due to the flashlight of the camera, my eyeballs so big and my face so white. I took a second look and I do agreed with him lor. But overall, I am quite pleased with the contact lenses. Since this contact lenses is yearly disposable, it means I can only have 1 year of big beautiful eyes. But not to worry I tell myself. I have already checked out with my friend who worked in an optical shop. She said Singapore will be bringing in such contact lenses in a few months' time. So to all the ladies out there who wanna have big beautiful eyes, do check out the optical shops for the contact lenses ba. a NiCe ReWaRd

Still remember I was busy doing the arrangement for my company's team building trip in Hong Kong last week? Well, being a contract staff of the company, I was not involved in the team building. The whole company will be away next week in HK while I will stay in the office alone. It's fine being alone in the office though it will be pretty quiet. *wink* Anyway, I was told by my Admin Manager that my GM wanted to arrange me to join them in Hong Kong on Friday with air ticket and hotel accomodation all paid by the company. My GM is very pleased with my working performance and wanted to reward me by extending the privilege to join them in Hong Kong. It's supposed to be a hush hush thing because in the first place I shouldn't even be going. To cut the story short, my trip to HK was cancelled to prevent the big boss from questioning my GM on my presence in Hong Kong. Well, its really fine even if I couldn't go. Afraid that I will feel disappointed, I was given a gift voucher for a 2 days 1 night stay Deluxe Seaview Room at Rasa Sentosa by my GM. He apologised that the HK trip fell through for me and the gift voucher is an appreciation for the hard work I have done for the company. I was surprised and thankful at the same time. I feel that there isn't a need to compensate me with the gift voucher lor. Because in the first place I am really not supposed to be going to Hong Kong as I am not involved in the team building trip. My Admin Manager even suggest that I try booking the room in Rasa Sentosa during the week of National Day. She will let me have the Monday off instead of using my annual leave. So nice right? Though I am a contract staff in this company, but I was treated like everyone else in the office. How fortunate I am~~~ Anyway, I have already made a reservation with Rasa Sentosa with the gift voucher. Apparantly, it's fully booked during the whole month of August. The next available date is on 3 September. Still got a long way to go but what to do. No choice wor. Just got to wait and count down to the check-in date with my dear dear. Yes. I am bringing my dear dear along with me. And we gonna have a great time there. With the sun, sand and beach. *wink*

ZPOP CoNcErT oN SaTuRdAy

I am back in action again~ Well, here comes a summarised update on my weekend. My dear dear was given 4 free tickets for the ZPOP Concert. Since we didn't have other plans of going anywhere else, we decided to check it out. When we reached the convention hall at Suntec City where the concert was held, we were shocked. Eh, because mostly were young kids wor. Anyway, we quickly checked out the poster and see who are the performers for the concert. There were Taiwanese boyband 183 Club, Korean heart-throb Lee Dong Gun, JJ Lin Junjie, Gigi Leung, Shi Wen Bin, Tanya Chan, Fan Weiqi, Maia Lee, Zhang Huei Mei and more. Seeing so many nice performers for the concert, we decided not to give it a miss. BUT before we enjoy the concert, we got to eat something to fill our stomach first. Why leh? Because the concert started at 5pm and ended at 11pm. So off we went to Thai Express for our dinner. Yummy~~ After our hearty dinner, we walked and shopped around awhile before we went back to the ZPOP Concert. It's pretty nice, sitting around and listening to the performers singing live at the concert. Eh though its a bit too far to have a clearer look of the performers but it's still alright because they have 4 big big de screens for the audiences who were too far away from the stage. The best always comes last. Zhang Huei Mei was the last one to perform for the night. She's damn good can~ Her voice ji powerful yi sia. Her figure also ji power yi sia. She really can bring on the crowd lor. Everybody was singing and dancing along with her. She even played a piano and drums wor. Really a very talented performer. A *mei~~~ Wo men yong yuan zhi chi ni!!!

BuSy AgAiN

This week is an extremely busy week for me as my company will be going to Hong Kong for a meeting on the 1st week of August. A lot of preparations have to be done like their hotel accomodation and air-tickets. Both my Admin Manager and myself are so busy until we got to tabao lunch back to office to eat. So busy can~ So in the meantime, please pardon my lack of updates for my blog hor. Really beri the busy. Will be back in action very soon =)

a WeEkEnd oF FoOd

I was surrounded by food, tidbits and DVDs for the weekend. How to slim down you tell me? Seeing the scale moving to the right instead of left whenever I weigh myself, I know it's time to do something. I got to give up the delicious food and tempting delicacies for the sake of vanity. I must JIAN FEI~~~ For the sake of getting a nice dress for Noelle's wedding. For the sake of my sister's wedding. I must get my butt off the chair and start exercising! So before I start on my Project Slim, I decided to pamper myself first. Pamper myself with food that I won't be able to indulge for the next few months. I helped myself with ice-cream and potato chips while I was watching DVDs with my dear dear at his house during the weekend. It's so sinful can~ All those indulgence would have assist in moving the weighing scale 2 more units to the right. Anyway, hopefully I can slim down in time for the 2 important weddings I got to attend in a few months' time. Below are some of the food I indulge in during the weekend. Start drooling!

mY FiRsT EmBaRaSsiNg MoMeNt

Apple always share with us her many many embarassing moments and would want us to share with her our very own embarassing moments too. But whenever it comes to my turn, I have nothing to share. Reason being I have never encounter anything embarrassing in my life before until TODAY. I went to meet Noelle for lunch just now. After our chatting and gossips for about 1 hous plus, we got to part out ways and return to our office. We exchanged our goodbye and a hug before we separate our ways. From the place we left to my office, I got to cross two roads. Usually its took me about 5 mins to reach my office building. But today it took me about 15-20 mins. Here comes the best part of the story. When I stepped out of the road to cross the first traffic light, my left heel's strap broke. Ok... never mind. I fastened my pace and walked faster as the green man blinked with the timing counting down. When I was halfway through, my right heel's strap broke too! Yes! TWO OF MY NEWLY BOUGHT BLACK HEELS'STRAPS BROKE! Thank you very much. I quickly dragged both shoes and feet to get out of the road. Shit! I still got a distance to go before I reach my office. How sial? A lot of people were looking at me AND my broken shoes lor. I sms Noelle and told her of my embarassing encounter and she was shocked to find out both straps of my heels broke. I do not know whether its lucky or not. I have a pair of yellow slippers in my office. Lucky because I need not go around barefooted. Unlucky because I am in my nice office attire today but wearing a yellow slippers walking around in my office. What a day!

The Great Singapore Sale will be coming to an end next week. The 2-month long sale is very appealing because there are a lot of participating outlets and shops. Not only that, there's lots of good buys if you really shop. Anyway, I didn't really have the chance to grab the best buys and also because no shopping funds. Therefore, I can only envy those people who got the best buy and lots of shopping funds for this year's Great Singapore Sale aka GSS. Well, all I can do now is start putting aside some money to build up my shopping fund for next year's GSS ba. BUT not wanting to waste the retailers' efforts, I went to shop around during my lunchtime yesterday. It's supposed to be window-shopping de but I ended up buying 3 pairs of shoes lor. Eh buay pai lah. The 3 pairs of shoes costs me $50 nia. Cheap and nice. Below are the photos of the shoes I bought. I simply love shoes~

BeAuTiFuL dAy

Today is a beautiful day. Because its Friday! Well, for working people like us, weekends are what we looked for eagerly every week lor. Not like when we were still studying, got school holidays to enjoy and relax wor. There won't be any Devilsbar cheong sessions for the devils bitches these few weeks. There's reason for it de hor. All of us wanna start saving money. Wei~ don't roll your eyes leh. We wanna save money for various reasons. Some wanna get married, some wanna buy car, some wanna go holidays etc. The 6 of us are so close now that we share all our problems and happiness. We even planned for shopping trips to KL and Bangkok some time next year. We will meet up for kopi sessions and dinners at least once or twice a week. And we believe this special friendship of ours will be everlasting. The bond between us are so strong that NO ONE can ruin it. I am soooo really glad I have found myself this group of darlings. Friends forever!

I do not know what comes over me. I thought I would chicken out at the last minute. But in the end, I still go ahead and do it. I dyed my hair dark brown BUT it turned out looking BLACK! When I saw myself in the mirror after washing my hair, I gave myself a pat on my back and console myself that it looks fine. For the past 10 years, I have been with coloured hair all along. When black hair was in fashion last year, I didn't even attempt to follow the black hair trend. It was because I was very tanned that time and I will look like an Indian if I were to dye my hair black. I looked awful in dark colour hair. That's what I always thought. Anyway, I think I gonna have lots of bad hair days for the next few weeks. *Sigh*

Last night was a special night. It's Apple darling's special night. She was one of the contestants for the Wheels Asia Magazine Race Queen Contest. Last night's event was for the selection of the contestants for the final round. I am very sure Apple darling will get into the finals de. *smile* Before going down to Siam Supper Club at Mohd Sultan for the event, me and my dear dear went for dinner first at Sakae Sushi. Both of us eat until very full sial. Dennis aka Uncle Poon and Alicia came down to join us for dinner too. After the hearty meal, me and my dear dear went down to Siam Supper Club to look for Apple. Had several drinks as it's free-flow from 8pm to 10pm. After the event, we (me, dear dear, Apple, Ju, Marilyn, Edmund and friends) went down to Devilsbar. Still early mah, so go Devilsbar continue our party lor. We all had some more drinks and lots of dancing. Shiok man! I left Devilsbar at about 1am and went for a movie at Cineleisure with my dear dear. Both of us were a bit high le but die die wanna catch a movie - War of the Worlds. Eh, the movie quite disappointing lor. If you don't wanna waste money hor, can buy DVD and watch. While waiting for our show to start in one hour's time, me and my dear dear decided to have several games of pool to kill time. Imagine both of us a bit tipsy, we still managed to clear about 3 games of pool. Buay pai hor. After watching the disappointing movie, both of us went back home.
