It's finally Friday tomorrow and I am feeling very excited about it. I have actually organised a gathering to meet up with all my dearest girlfriends for a dinner cum chit-chat cum gossip session tomorrow. Come to think of it, it had been some time since we last met up. And whenever we arrange to meet up, it's that same old famous place ----> Cineleisure's Long John Silver (Not too sure whether it's advisable to indicate the location or not, that's why it's in tiny fonts). Last week when I sent a mass sms to the ladies about the gathering, Lyana was the first one to reply :"Don't tell me it's Long John again hor." Well, the initial plan was to have dinner at a noodle house called Silk Road at Millenia Walk. But I couldn't managed to make a reservation for so many of us so we got to meet up at the lao di fang aka Long John Silver instead. Anyway, it doesn't really matter where we meet up because we will still be able to enjoy ourselves de. I was telling Apple when we organise the next gathering, the sms sent out to the ladies will be "Yo gals, let's gather on XX/XX/XXXX(date). Same time. Same place." Short & sweet right? Kekeke... I am looking forward to meet up with them tomorrow. It's gonna be fun! =)

OpEn oR nOt? BaN oR dUn BaN?
News of opening not one but two casinos in Singapore splashed the newspapers and TV news these few days. Just a month ago, the news were on extending the smoking ban to more public places like coffee shops and hawker centres. Though its two different issues but to me they are the same.
In both issues, there are bound to have people who have different views. There will be people who support the idea of opening a casino in Singapore but there's also people who object to it. Same theory goes to the ban of smoking to more public places. Non-smokers will support the ban while the smokers claimed it as a ridiculous move. If you don't want people to smoke, might all means stop the sale of cigarettes. By increasing the price of the cigarettes( Imagine it's only $2.20 per pack of 10 when I started smoking) and extending the smoking ban to more places( Might include clubs & pubs too) will only make the people frustrated and helpless. Why? It's because we will have to follow the rules set by the government. Well-said isn't it?
Anyway, all these news doesn't really matters much to me. Or should I say I simply can't be bothered with it? Open the casino? Extend the smoking ban? We can't decide. We just follow the rules.

It's the dreadful Monday again when most of us hate because its the beginning of a new week and it's time to start working. You all must be thinking why I am complaining when I am supposed to be a professional bummer. Miko don't like to bum around without a job for too long because she will not have money for her shopping, her beauty maintenance and other luxuries. So while she is waiting to start her new permanent job on 28 April, she got herself a temp job to earn some pocket money.
Anyway, my temp assignment is with MTV Asia located at Dhoby Ghaut. This week is my 2nd week with them. The office got a lot of televisions with different channels showing MTVs. I am doing some admin duties for them like updating the contract details and recording the video tapes they have. It's great to work here because I can wear my jeans and racer-back top for work. No need to wear office attire. Most of the people here wear casually to work too. You can see some of the staff with funky hairstyles or lots of earrings on their ears. Even one of the HR staff here was spotted with purple sreaks on her hair. Stylo right? Well, I am sure you all will not get to see this in a corporate office. It's kinda interesting to work here. Below are some of the pictures I took in the office. From the pictures, you can really see it's indeed a very nice place to work in.

A 512MB Sony Memory Stick. The original package for the PSP only comes with a 32MB memoery stick. It's not enough for my dear dear to save his Naruto animes in it lor.
