I have been kinda busy lately so didn't really have the time to update my blog. Whatever available time I have I will make full use of it by resting. Anyway, I have been watching Naruto (a Japanese anime) with my dear dear for the past few weeks. For those people who watch Naruto will know how interesting and exciting it is.
My dear dear being a anime-lover went to search for the pictures of those people who make efforts in doing up the costumes and dressed up as the anime characters. There's actually some kind of competition (or just exhibition) called Cosplay for these people to showcase the costumes and the characters they dressed up as. It's damn cool lor. Below are the pictures my dear dear shared with me. Enjoy~
In the meantime, may everybody have an enjoyable and great weekend ahead. It's time to party again!!!!

Is it the oh-so-familiar sympthoms of the monthly visits of my auntie (Menses or period) or the building up of existing problems that caused the frustration in me these few days?
Sometimes I find that I am very busy with absolutely no time to rest and relax. But there are times I feel so damn bored with nothing to do. Irony right? Humans are like that. They are never satisfied with whatever they have. Haiz...
Though I just came back from Bangkok not long ago, I feel that I still need a holiday. Maybe to a resort where I can relax by the beach with the sun shining. Feel the sea breeze blowing and listen to the sea waves. To be able to go on short trips every now and then is such a wonderful thing. Life should not be just work and no play.
Come to think of it, there are lots of places I wanna go. Countries like Australia and Japan. In order to fulfill these travelling dreams, I think I got to start working hard and saving hard now. I am sure its worth spending the money to travel. It's experiencing life lor.
Well, I think its time I find something meaningful to do. Maybe experiment with more of the DIY manicure or go to the library and borrow some books to read. At least there's something to keep my mind occupied and keep the frustrations away.

Yesterday was Wednesday but as usual I didn't head down to Devilsbar. Please don't be surprised because I have said several times I will not be going to Devilsbar on Wednesday though its ladies night which also means can drink until siao.
Well, I guai guai go back home after work, had my dinner and start experimenting something new. Yes... It's Do-It-Yourself French Manicure. All along, I have been interested in taking up those manicure and pedicure courses. But I got no time wor. (Ok..... I admit I am lazy) Since I have plenty of time after my dinner, I took my manicure kit and started doing my first DIY french manicure. It requires a lot of skill and steady hands to do it wor. It's really not easy. But nevertheless, I still managed to achieve a nicely painted french manicure. I hereby self-certified myself a professional manicurist. (Wei~ this is my blog and I can say whatever I want - This sentence I learnt from my dearest friend Elaine keke...) Ok lah, it's kinda late now. Got to sleep le. Oyasumi and iiyume~ (Means gdnight & sweet dreams in japanese)
My newly manicured nails. Nice boh?

a Not-sO-bLuE mOnDaY
Why a not-so-blue Monday for me? It's because I have more than enough sleep and rest during the weekends. Well, though I am not feeling blue but I am feeling kinda lazy. I feel like going to the beach, lie down on the sand and get a nice tan under the sun. Pure relaxation... Heavenly...
To stop the laziness in me from accumulating, I got to find something to do to keep myself busy. After some analyzing, I realised I have lots to do (but too lazy to be bothered with it). The clothes, lingerie, shoes and bags I bought from Bangkok have yet to be sorted out and my table is in a total mess with all my cosmetics.
To avoid my dearest Daddy from nagging at me(or to my Mummy) for the untidiness of my bedroom, I better start packing and tidy up. After that, the next important thing to do is to start my exercise regime. The weather these few days is pretty good for swimming and suntanning. *wink* Don't forget Miko love the sun =)
Before I end my post, below are some of the photos taken during my photo shoot at Sentosa before Chinese New Year. I just collected the photos from my photographer yesterday. Enjoy~

I just came back home with my dear dear after watching a lousy movie titled "A Series Of Unfortunate Events". No doubt it's acted by the famous Jim Carrie but the plot was damn lame and crappy lor. Eh, got a few funny scenes but overall's rating (Miko's personal views) is BAD.
Oh ya, I went Devilsbar last night. It was damn fun lor. As usual, it was kind of a gathering for most of us. Why gathering you might think? It's because most of us have turned into Devilsbar Special Guests (You all know who you are hor). Devilsbar Special Guests means you don't get to see them at Devilsbar as often. They will only be there once in a blue moon. So last night was full strength for our very own Devilsbar kakis! The guys even went up to the bartop and danced. And as usual, the big group of us were shouting "Table! Table!" with people staring at us in amazement (And not forgetting some idiots who asked us to stop shouting). I was telling my devils kakis whether those people partying at Devilsbar will mistaken us for shouting some kind of secret society codes. LOLz... The Table Gang!
Ok tats all for my updates. Gonna catch some sleep now. Nitez!

Yeah me in the plane le~~~Apple behind me making funny face -_-

Food served on the plane. Eh, only the Mars chocolate is nice =X

4 of us at Apple's friend,David's suite apartment after we arrived in Bangkok. Had some red wine and got a nice view of scenery from his 54th floor suite apartment.

24th Feb 2005 (Thursday)
Me having Thai fried rice for brunch at MBK's foodcourt.

Me having the not-to-be-missed-when-in-Bangkok's famous delicacy - Bird's Nest. Damn nice sial. *drool*

My dear dear enjoying his sharks fin - the next delicacy not to be missed too.

We tried the Clam soup, Chocolate Milk Shake and Green Tea Milk at a restaurant named Milk Plus when we stopped for a rest at MBK.

Four of us had a Japanese style steamboat for early dinner at MBK.

Dear dear taking a picture with a scary doll hung there for the advertising of a horror movie.

We continued our 2nd round of more shopping at MBK after our dinner. After that, we all headed back to our hotel to rest. After resting, we went to Patpong for some more shopping.
Apple chanced upon a sibeh big cigarette and sibeh big zippo lighter when we were shopping at Patpong.

Four of us stopped for a rest and had some ice cream after lots of shopping and bargaining at Patpong.

25th Feb 05 (Friday)
Was asked to woke up sibeh early by our Ms Blur Apple. We were supposed to wake up at 8am, go for breakfast at 9am then go to the temple and pray at 10am. (all Bangkok time) But our Miss Apple got the time wrong and woke us up at 6am asking us to prepare -_-''' She didn't realised she got the time wrong until we told her. Before we went to the temple, we were shopping around at Siam Square. Too much shopping makes people gets hungry easily. So we decided to find a nice place to have our lunch. After searching for some time, we ended up at a Vietnamese restaurant. Ya, restaurant again.
Tom yum soup

Fried Rice

Me enjoying my Vietnamese noodle with grilled chicken.

After our lunch, we headed down to the temple to bai bai.
Wow~~So many people came here to bai bai wor.

They were dancing for the four-faced Buddha at the temple. We will pay at the counter for them to dance for the four-faced Buddha. Prices differ for the number of dancers you request. The four of us paid 720 baht for 8 dancers. Money is worth spending to get the good blessings.

The four of us went for a wonderful dinner at Cabbages & Condoms Restaurant. It was recommended to pay a visit there by Huiqi's colleagues. The restaurant served Thai food with a nice ambience and good service.

Apple and Huiqi at Cabbages and Condoms restaurant

A happy me who had a great Thai pineapple rice while my sad dear dear had a less satisfactory Thai noodle.

Sawadee-kup~~~

Saw this at the entrance of the Cabbages & Condoms Restaurant. Free condoms wor~~~

After our sumptous dinner, we returned to our hotel and start preparing for some chill-out at a very nice place called Sky Bar at State Tower. It's a very high class place, with very nice ambience and scenery. Chanced upon this wonderful place when we went to David's suite apartment. Imagine yourself listening to the live band, wind blowing onto your face, looking at the nice scenery of Bangkok at 64th storey high.
Me and my dear dear chilling out at Sky Bar in State Tower.

Apple and Huiqi enjoying themselves at Sky Bar too.

26th Feb 05 (Saturday)
Shopping, shopping & more shopping at Chatuchak Market.

A very happy me doing lots of shopping (and buying) and a very bored dear dear who got to follow us around.

Went to meet our dearest Juliana at MBK. Eh machiam Devilsbar gathering at Bangkok sial.

Me and Apple went for our chiong session at Q-Bar in Bangkok. They played mostly trance music.

27th Feb 05 (Sunday)
Found a stall in Chatuchak market selling this - fried grasshoppers and fried maggots

Lots of puppies and dogs were for sale at Chatuchak Market. The puppies were so cute!

Meet Ju dear at Chatuchak market. If you have been there, you will know how difficult it is for us to meet her there le. For ur info, Chatuchak market is about 7 football fields big.

You all see our Miss Apple helping herself in the shop. *sweat until no sweat to sweat lor*

Miss Apple happily showing us her shopping treasures.

After all the shopping, my dear dear and myself went to do foot massage and Thai mssage while Apple and Huiqi went to do manicure & pedicure. After doing our massage, my dear dear & myself decided to buy tickets to watch ah gua show aka cabaret show at our hotel.
Took a picture after buying tickets to watch a Cabaret show.

Chinatown in Bangkok

Went to a Chinese restaurant greatly recommended by our Juliana dear. Cheap and good was what she said and sure enough it's indeed good. See the prawns, sibeh big & fresh sial.

6 of us enjoying a sumptous dinner.

After our dinner, the four of us (Me, des, Apple & Huiqi) faster rush back to our hotel to catch the ah gua show, leaving Juliana and Thomas behind at the restaurant.
Took a picture while we wait for the ah gua show to start

Chio boh?

Took a photo with the prettiest one. Damn pretty lor.

After watching the ah gua show, Juliana and Thomas met us at our hotel before we headed down to Bed Supper Club to chiong. It's really machiam Devilsbar gathering in Bangkok lor. Anyway, Bed Supper Club is a very nice place too. There are actually two sections - one to chill out and one is the dance bar. The chill out section damn shiok lor. They have two rows of bed by the side and you can see people sitting on the bed enjoying their drinks. Damn shiok lor. Eh, I don't have the photos to show you so do check out Apple's blog.
28th Feb 2005 (Monday)
Well, it's time to start packing for home. We checked out of the hotel at about 11 plus and headed straight to the airport to check in our luggages. Our flight back to S'pore is 3.40pm. Since we still have lots of time, we decided to have our lunch (we ate Burger King, no more restaurants) and found a place to have a drink to while away the time. Apple and Huiqi fell asleep with their heads on the table, my dear dear was playing his Gameboy happily and me reading the magazine. Thinking we still have time, we walked slowly (really is taking our own sweet time lor) to check in with our passports. And you all know what? The four of us were the last passengers and the whole plane were waiting for us -_-. The four of us were like running all the way to the gate when we realised we were the last four passengers. Imagine all the eyes were on us when we walked to our seats in the plane. Damn pai sey sial.
Thats how I spent my holiday in Bangkok for the past few days. After having all the good food in Bangkok, it's time to go on a diet le. Really cannot afford to put on any more weight. Because I wanna be a pretty jie jie for my sister's wedding.
